Day 9

Hebrews 9:27-28

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for taking the judgement of our sin upon yourself in the person of Jesus Christ. You are a holy God who has chosen to make us holy by your own Spirit. Thank you for dwelling within our hearts and adopting us into your family. We can therefore await the return of Jesus Christ without shame or fear, but with eagerness and expectation. Come quickly Lord Jesus!
