Read at least one classic a month! Books like Great Expectations by Charles Dickens or To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee broaden vocabulary and will have a lasting impact on your student’s writing skills.

Don’t forget to keep a list of books read throughout high school – both fiction and non-fiction.
